Black Lives Matter

To Our Employees And Customers:

ByNext is in full support of the Black Lives Matter Movement and celebrates Juneteenth - the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. Dating back to 1865, it was on June 19th that Union soldiers landed in Texas with news that the war had ended and that the enslaved were now free. Note that this was two and a half years after President Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation - which had become official January 1, 1863.

We believe that Black Lives not only Matter but is our responsibility to create an environment that enables all of our black brothers and sisters to thrive. As a result, we celebrate Juneteenth through our everyday actions and not in the history books.

At ByNext, we believe actions are greater than words, and corporations have a responsibility to put their money where their mouths are. Real change requires real action.

To that end, ByNext has set up a scholarship fund for a minimum amount of $10,000 per year toward a college education in STEM (science, technology, engineering, or math) programs to our black brothers and sisters in our communities. The scholarship will be awarded to two qualified recipients in the amount of $5,000 each.

This scholarship can be awarded to our black colleagues, their immediate or extended family members, or anyone qualified in our communities. Additionally, non-black employees and customers can sponsor a qualified applicant in this program.

This scholarship will be awarded on behalf of ByNext and the party who sponsors the recipient.

The details of this program, including participation, qualification, time of the award and will be communicated by July 10, 2020.

From inception, ByNext’s goal has always been to build a socially responsible, inclusive and sustainable company. We strive to create and launch programs that help empower everyone in our communities.

We are in this together.
